Our surgeons look at the patient’s medical history to ensure they are the right candidates for this procedure. Usually, people who do not suffer from any medical ailment that can interfere with this treatment can be considered ideal candidates for rhinoplasty.

The consultation is your opportunity to discuss your expectations and the overall effect you wish to achieve and ask any questions about issues that may be concerning you. The surgeon will perform a medical check and ask you about any existing health conditions so we can ensure that the surgery is safe for you.

Rhinoplasty is performed under a general anesthetic and takes around two hours. The procedure differs from patient to patient depending on their individual requirements and your surgeon will explain the exact process in detail during your consultation. There are two different types of Rhinoplasty; Open and Closed. Open rhinoplasty requires small incisions to be made in the flesh so you can expect stitches, whereas the Closed version does not involve any cutting.

Because rhinoplasty involves a general anesthetic, you will be required to stay at the clinic overnight. As a general rule, our recommendation is to wear comfortable leisurewear/pajamas, slippers and your washbag. You will have to wear a nose splint for up to ten days following the surgery and you should expect some bruising and swelling to the area. Regular follow-up appointments will be made, during which your surgeon will remove any stitches and check healing. We recommend that you avoid any strenuous exercise for at least six weeks following the procedure.

No, it is not a painful surgery as the patient is given anesthesia. This numbs the area, and they do not feel any pain or discomfort. However, the patient will experience mild discomfort, bruising swelling and minor bleeding as well after the surgery. This goes away with the passage of time as the nose recovers from the surgery.

I did an enzyme facial last week at NOVA clinic, It was amazing,Christine was amazing and very gentle and the atmosphere of the room is very relaxing. The facial was kind of uncomfortable because it stings BUT after the results of the facial after 2 days i forgot about the unpleasant itches during the facial.
